A love for creating tastefully appointed spaces has been a part of Jillian Pruitt since childhood. As a young girl she would regularly draw floor plans and rearrange the furniture in her bedroom, even going as far as convincing her younger sister to help her tear up the carpet in their shared bedroom when they discovered the hardwood floors underneath the wall to wall orange and brown shag.
On an exchange student trip to France in high school, Jillian's world was opened to the incredible attention to detail that can be found in even the most basic of French residences. Humble homes in the French countryside, opulent apartments in the busy cities, metropolitan art galleries with their gleaming white floors and the iconic Louvre Pyramid all left a longing for greater art and design in Jillian's heart.
While studying art and communication in college, Jillian worked for a local florist and fell head first into the art of styling florals for weddings and special events. After college she continued in the boutique wedding floral industry until the desire to pursue her true design love become possible.
